We had a team trip down to London yesterday to pick up our BT agile award for ‘best overall application of the agile manifesto’. We got a certificate each, a trophy for the team and a card signed by the top bods in BT’s IT division.
We also get to go up against all the other winners at an Oscars-style award ceremony at the end of the financial year, with the overall winning team and individual getting a trip to Agile 2007 in the US.
Unfortunately our project’s being outsourced and BT’s approach is to assign indivuals to projects rather than projects to teams, so by that time we’ll probably all be working on separate things. I guess we’ll have to fight over the trophy!
